Sydney – Die australische Weltstadt
Sydney ist spätestens seit dem Opera House zu einer weltberühmten Stadt geworden. Aber die Stadt bietet noch mehr als die meist besuchten Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das Opera House, The Rocks, Harbour Bridge, Bondi Beach und Darling Harbour.
Die meisten Backpacker suchen eine Unterkunft in der Hauptstadt von New South Wales in Kings Cross. Dort gibt es neben günstigen Backpackers und Hotels auch trendige Lokale und unzählige Night Clubs. Bekannt ist auch das Parkhaus in Kings Cross wo die Backpackers versuchen ihren alten Camper an einen Neuankömmling in Down Under zu verkaufen. Wer Sydney sehen will, sollte auf jeden Fall ein paar Tage einplanen, denn die Stadt ist die Grösste des australischen Kontinents.
