Wie der Name schon sagt, liegt das Northern Territory (NT) im Norden von Australien. Das Gebiet wir auch Outback genannt. Die Hauptstadt des Northern Territory ist Darwin. Alice Springs ist eine weitere bekannte Grossstadt im Outback. Damit man auch einen Eindruck erhält wie gross Australia’s Outback Northern Territory wirklich ist, hier der Vergleich: viermal so groß wie Deutschland, 33x so groß wie die Schweiz und 16x so groß wie Österreich.
